Mikayla Plemmons, M.S. CCC-SLP
Mikayla Plemmons, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed speech-language pathologist. Mikayla received her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Radford University. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Radford University with honors.
Mikayla has experience providing speech therapy and literacy (reading & writing) intervention to children of all ages. She has primarily worked in the schools alongside other SLP's and professionals.
Mikayla is experienced and passionate about literacy, articulation disorders, and phonological disorders. She uses a Structured Literacy / Science of Reading approach to address literacy difficulties.
She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licenses in Indiana and Virginia.
In her spare time, Mikayla loves to read, garden, bake, and spend time with her husband, family, and friends.
